Fundraising Managers:

It’s time to get to work. We know that as the fundraising manager, you have a big job ahead of you, but we have designed our program to make it as easy as possible to succeed.

We have provided kits for each of the participants that include order brochures, a full size candle, tips to successful selling and the fragrance finder. The participants have all the tools they need but based on experience, there are a few things you can do that will have a dramatic impact on your fundraiser.

Two Weeks, Two Weekends
Set a timeline for the project. Our experience shows that fundraisers are more successful when they are run for two weeks and over two weekends. Two weeks allows for enough time to get the word out and make the sales, but not too much to lose momentum for the project.

Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail
Set a goal for the whole project and also for each participant. Included in the manager binder is a tracking sheet for you to follow up with your team throughout the fundraiser. This is the most important step for you. Follow up and you will get better results, we promise.

Stay Excited!
Your participants look to you, so be excited. If you maintain momentum and excitement for the project, it will impact how well your participants sell. Also, let your community catch the spirit by hanging your signs and spreading the word.

Time Is Up
All you have to do is gather up the order forms and drop them in the mail, we take care of the rest. In two to three weeks, we will ship your candles. Items are already sorted for you, simply find the box(es) with the participant’s name. When your group sells 200 candles, we even waive the shipping fees.
